Yeah, Batman is Rich but can he fly by his own? Or Spiderman, can he blash beams from his hands? And Superman, yes he may be the strongest but can he get the chicks and crack a good joke?
This is what I love about Iron man 2, without altering his genetics, or being born from an alien planet , he is the hero of great interest. The first Iron Man was really explosive, as in a lot of explosions. Now since there are now two (War Machine) its twice or probably trice as explosive with this one. Fire power was the name of the game, there are the missiles, laser beams, bullets, machine guns, and bombs. More Metal, crushing steel and cables...also not forget electricity which would probably take an entire power output from a plant.
I actually loved Natasha Romanova (Scarlet Johansson), as she is the hot butt-kicking chic aside from Pepper (well she was not really a fighter, in combat that is). It will make you say "I wish I was that man that she strangled". Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) in the meanwhile was the fighter with words, in short a nagger, but a very good one. It seems that the men in Iron suits are not the only one to watch out for.
The movie also makes you love Science more, specifically your Chemistry and Physics. I am studying Engineering and it made me love the course more as I it made my head think about the possibilities. If you think you know the latest gadgets, think again. Stark Industries are way ahead of what you are thinking. You would convince yourself to visit the Stark Expo.Lets face it, in a matter of years anything can be possible, like discovering a new element.
There was also a logical drama in the story which paved the way to important figures and events in the movie. It was not too much, but not really to move you into tears. The Avenger members did a lot for our hero but it lack something like a strong connection to stir a upcoming Avenger movie. Also unlike the first, it was not a very climatic ending which may look that there won't be another one after this, I hope not. For now, I think I will build my own suit too. Did I also mention that you would also see Briefcase Man?

Well the fact that Justine Hammer left a word and Ivan's identity is actually an identity of another Iron Man Villain (other than Whiplash) just proves a sequel's viability.
