LAKBAYAN: Discover BonPen Diaries (Part 3 - Agri Fair and Potogo Church))

Now on the next installment of the BonPen Diaries in Quezon we are still in the host town Pitogo and after checking out the historical places in the town, we had lunch and went on our way to check out the Agri Fair beside the historical church of the town (Conversion of St. Paul). The Agri Fair features booths from the towns in the BonPen region with signature products on sale and also at affordable prices. The booths are also designed very well to compete for the best booth award .

The complex itself is a historical site as Pitogo has endured ages with a community for the early Quezonians. The church is on top a hill and is dedicated to the event of the conversion of St. Paul from Saul the Christian prosecutor. The town had history of beeing invaded by moors in the early days and having a town center, church and administration buildings in this area makes it a strategic point to detect enemies coming from the sea.

We went up the bell tower of the church to catch the best view of the town and the landscape that makes it so majestic and breathtaking. Interesting things is one of the bell in the tower is dated back in the 19th century. And technically we are in the highest point in the town gave us cool pictures that we cant help but to have our pictures taken with scenic background. Here we made the BonPen festival Bell tower tour..

This is just the start of our adventures in these towns, more stories, pictures and videos to come so you can also feel the fun we had at the Bondoc Peninsula!
