Fall In Love at NUVALI Night-Sky Cinema!

It's the love month and love activities and events are not just exclusive on Valentine's Day, with people rushing and always on busy schedule, it would great to have a nice laid-back weekend with your loved ones and watch a movie or go on a food trip. Well why not have both at Nuvali Sta Rosa, where they have conducted the Outdoor Movie screening in Nuvali Fields. They have three movies for the Valentine weekend, and they are "Breakfast At Tiffany's", "Pretty in Pink," and "Like Crazy". The whole area is filled with a lot of people with everyone ready with their mats, food, and even their dates.


It looks like the drive-in movies in the US back in the days which is also a popular date ideas back then and now is also a family event for all. With a great scenery of the sky and lush greens around, makes the feel more dramatic and  even romantic. I hope this becomes a regular thing in NUVALI as it brings families together and live up to their slogan "where people and nature thrive". 

You will find almost everything you need with great food, play area for children, shops, and nature all in one place, takes away all the hassles of urban living and also is a great getaway from the busy lifestyle.

Great Hollywood Romantic Flicks Underneath The Stars

The first ever NUVALI Night Sky Cinema drew crowds to and from all over the metropolis on Valentine's weekend.

Set in a green open football field, people from all walks of life sat on bean bags and picnic mats watching all time favorite Hollywood flicks on a gigantic outdoor screen - the event's main attraction.

A romantic mood embraced the crowd as they watched films such as Pretty in Pink, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Like Crazy. No place could be more perfect for such an even given the clear star-lit sky, cool breeze, and fresh air that NUVALI is known for.

Breakfast at Tiffany's the first film to be screened, is a 1961 Audrey Hepburn film directed by Blake Edwards. Hepburns portrays a naive, eccentric cafe society girl named Holly - generally believed to be the actress' most identifiable and memorable role.

Pretty in Pink on the other hand is 1986 American teen romantic comedy about teenage love and social cliques in 1980's American  High Schools. It is one of a group of John Hughes films starring Molly Ringwald, and is commonly identified as a "Brat Pack" film. The film was directed and written by John Hughes. It has become a cult favorite.

Of the three films, Like Crazy is the most fairly recent. The 2011 American romantic drama film directed by Drake Doremus and starring Anton Yelchin, Felicity Jnes, Jennifer Lawrence and Alex Kingston. The film which won the 2011 Sundance  Film Festival Grand Jury Prize.

Aside from the movie screening, other "date night" attractions were available including a giant slide, jousting area, basketball hoops to name a few.

And what would be date night be without food? Food carts and trailers were also present to churn out tasty eats and movie treats.

Through events like this, people are given the opportunity to appreciate the outdoors and life's simple pleasures with family and friends: definitely another NUVALI signature event in the making.
