Dutertenomics Forum II Pitches to Global Media

More than 200 delegates are flocking to Dutertenomics II, a forum on President Rodrigo Duterte’s economic and development blueprint for the Philippines. It follows the successful launch of Dutertenomics on April 18, 2017.

In its second leg, foreign media are the audience as the government discusses the Philippines’ agenda, including its game plan as it strives to remain competitive in the global arena.

Spearheaded by the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) in partnership with the Department of Finance (DOF), and the Center for Strategy, Enterprise & Intelligence (CenSEI), Dutertenomics II will held on April 25, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the ASEAN International Media Center (IMC), Taft Ballroom of the Conrad Hotel in Pasay City. Registration starts at 4:30PM.

The forum gathers the country’s top economic managers to present the Duterte socio-economic agenda, which aims to widen the gains of economic development, to address inequality and to uplift the quality of life of all Filipinos.“

It is vital that our citizens and the world know the direction the country is taking as it works hard to narrow the gap that developed between us and our neighbors, “ PCOO Secretary Martin M. Andanar said.

“This forum gathers the best of mind; they hold the answers to the questions, specifically on where we are headed in the next six years. This economic forum is only the beginning, as we deliver the message of the President to the country and to the world. It educates the public about the plans of the nation’s leaders but also allows us to gain our citizen’s support in vital projects that will ensure prosperity for our nation and most especially our people.” Andanar stated.
