REEL DEAL: The Man From U.N.C.L.E. REVIEW

Before we will see again Henry Cavil as the man of steel next year, he will go on a secret mission first as a charming CIA agent that goes into a complicated case, and eventually teaming with an unlikely partner. The Man From U.N.C.L.E. bring two super agents Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and Russia's KGB Illya  Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) together in pursuit of the people threatening to bring nuclear turmoil in the world.

Of course the partnership was not easy and very awkward. With both having unique skills and gadgets that makes them par with the  British James Bond, the two also involves Gabby Teller (Alicia Vikander) who is the key in infiltrating the enemy camp with connections, wit, charm, and other tricks.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is directed by Guy Ritchie based on the TV series of the same name back in the sixties. Despite its period that is comparatively huge from what spy movies are today, the film has that charisma of that period with the characters.

Armie Hammer, the Ultimate Russian Spy in "Man from U.N.C.L.E."

He made his mark with an astonishing performance as the Winklevoss twins in “The Social Network” and followed it up with Best Supporting Actor nominations for “J. Edgar.” Now, Armie Hammer stars as the overly efficient Russian secret agent Illya Kuryaki in Warner Bros.' slick action-thriller “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”

Hammer offers the volatile but conventional Russian’s point of view of his character: “Kuryakin is the ultimate soldier, always in line and giving his best. Then he’s thrust into a position that he hates and there’s nothing he can do about it. This guy he’s working with, this Napoleon Solo, he’s so unorthodox. He doesn’t follow the rules. He doesn’t even seem to know there are rules.”

Henry Cavill, Suave American Super Spy in "Man from U.N.C.L.E."‏

Before he reprises his Superman role in the much-anticipated “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” scheduled for release in March 2016, Henry Cavill will first tackle the role of CIA super spy Napoleon Solo in Warner Bros.' slick action-thriller “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”

Cavill and Armie Hammer (“The Social Network”) team up in the film as, respectively, CIA operative Napoleon Solo and KGB agent Illya Kuryakin—two fierce rivals from opposing sides of the Iron Curtain who are ordered to put aside their differences and work together to subvert a global catastrophe at the height of the Cold War.

Fast Rising Star Alicia Vikander Spices Up “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”

Sweden's actress-on-the-rise Alicia Vikander (“Ex Machina”) stars opposite Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer in Warner Bros. Pictures' new spy action-thriller “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”

Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” centers on CIA agent Solo (Cavill) and KGB agent Kuryakin (Hammer). Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo’s only lead is Gaby Teller (Vikander), the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.

Action-Packed "Man from U.N.C.L.E." Saves the World in Style‏

Guy Ritchie’s “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” is a fast-moving, action-packed, sexy and stylish international adventure, shot through with humor, that is as much about the rocky relationship between two sparring superspies – Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) – as it is about the job they have to do.

“It’s a zone I find fascinating, the way men interact with each other,” says Ritchie, who directed, produced, and co-wrote “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” screenplay, based on the hit 1960s TV series of the same name.  “Even going back to ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,’ I’m drawn to that male-to-male dynamic as kind of a genre unto itself.”
