Avengers: Infinity War - Epic In All Proportions!

We have been waiting for almost a decade for an epic movie that would make new records at the box office and Avengers: Infinity War is that movie. As #ThanosDemandsYourSilence, we like to make this review spoiler free as respect for its filmmakers, fans, and even regular movie goers and of course it is the right thing to do.

A quick recap of the last few movies shows the direction going to this movie. The pivotal Civil War tested the Avengers with members in great conflict with their principle. Of course there is Spider-Man Homecoming that brings the spider hero finally part of the MCU. Black Panther is the last film to complete the roster of heroes who is set to face the biggest threat that comes from space, Thanos. From the earlier Avengers movies, his appearance has already hyped fans for the future encounter. But it was not immediate and we only see him in post-credits. Now he has arrived and we have mixed emotions.

True to Marvel Cinematic Universe fashion, action and comedy is the main reason why we love the film. Yet there have been also some dramatic scenes that were also yet incredibly moving, as certain death/s are imminent. The race to the infinity stones has never been so very tense as the objective of obtaining them would come with a heavy price and various ways of fighting.

REEL DEAL: Thor Ragnaork REVIEW

I was originally not a Thor fan, but this iconic superhero played by Chris Hemsworth eventually became one of my favorite avengers film. This third installment of series starring the god of thunder takes on a different ambiance as it shifted from the gloomy theme of Thor: The Dark World to a hilarious yet pivotal turning point with Thor: Ragnarok.

Just a few months after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which is banks on comedy to capture its audience, it was with this approach that Ragnarok was featured in its trailers. Since they do happen in the vast space, it seems fitting to align themselves towards their theme and would gravitate both of the movies together.

As Ragnarok means the end of the world, a new god is introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and her name is Hela played by Cate Blanchett. As the goddess of death, she is really a foe to be feared who could bring Asgard to ruins. Thor in the meantime find himself in a odd predicament where is made a warrior like gladiators.

Taika Waititi directed this film which is said to be his first hollywood movie. As a comedian himself, the comedic timing was on cue despite some are recurring jokes. It was really hilarious and made use of the outer space realm to introduce more alien life rather than focusing more on Earth.

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela (Cate Blanchett). But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

REEL DEAL: Avengers Age Of Ultron REVIEW

It has been 3 years since the incident in New York changed the world and also brought forth Earth's mightiest heroes, the Avengers. And with the story continues for the elite team with the birth of a very wicked and devious villain which came from the mind of one of the avengers, Ultron.

With the introduction of the Maximoff "twins" Wanda and Pietro, and also the highly anticipated appearance of Vision brings more thrills to this movie. We also see that it will still involve the infinity gems which when gathered could mean the end of many in the universe. But first things first that the avengers will have to face is the global threat of human extinction with Ultron's diabolical plan.

For geeks and fans, there are a lot of easter eggs scattered in the movie including the role Stan Lee whill be portraying as he has been doing in all of Marvel films. You might also want to research on the infinity stones as well as the films that show the other stones that will give you the idea of how bad it will be in the next films in the Marvel universe.

REEL DEAL: Downet Feels “AGE OF ULTRON” Marks End of Era, Start of New

Fan-favorite Robert Downey Jr. reprises his seminal portrayal of Tony Stark/Iron Man for the fifth time in Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” In Marvel’s “The Avengers” Tony Stark struggled to become a team player and in “Iron Man 3” audiences saw him transcend his dependency on the tech that was keeping him alive. So where does he go now?

To Downey Jr., the answer is simple: “There’s all this unfinished business. There’s the matter of a certain wormhole that opened over New York and the imminent threat that still implies, so Tony has turned his attentions more toward a bit of a post-Reagan-era, Star-Wars-type notion and he likes to call it Ultron.”

REEL DEAL: Captain America Comands The "AVENGERS" In Epic Sequel

No stranger to the role of Steve Rogers/Captain America after developing the character over three films, Chris Evans admits that there is still more to learn about the quintessential American hero in Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

“Steve Rogers is still trying to figure out where he belongs,” says Evans. “He’s always been a soldier and he’s fit in that format. He enjoys structure and he enjoys having orders and a plan, and without that he does feel a bit aimless, but he is still searching for whether or not he can have a life outside of being Captain America. He’s been of service for so long that trying to figure out what he would do without his uniform and shield is a bit of a puzzle.”

REEL DEAL: Thor, Hulk - God and Monster Return In “AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON”

Two of your favorite superheroes, Thor and The Hulk, are once again portrayed by acclaimed actors Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, respectively, in Marvel's highly anticipated action-adventure “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

Remaining where he was last seen at the end of “Thor: The Dark World” is the God of Thunder himself. Chris Hemsworth explains how his character has gotten more comfortable and accepting of his earthly surroundings.

REEL DEAL: Ultron Hell Bent On Human Extinction In "AVENGERS" Sequel

In Marvel's “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the Super Hero dream team must reassemble in order to stop the terrifying technological villain Ultron who's hell-bent on human extinction.

The decision to give Ultron his day in the sun as the villain of the film was always Joss Whedon’s first choice despite the end sequence in Marvel’s “The Avengers,” which featured the character of Thanos. The writer/director explains, “For me Thanos was always meant to be in the 3rd Avengers movie because he really is a god,” explains Whedon. “He is like a supreme being of evil and for me it was the cosmic cube because I’m really old; for some people it was the infinity gauntlet, but the great crossovers were usually Thanos-based and he made everybody’s lives miserable. And so the idea that he was the prime mover behind all of this just seemed natural.”

REEL DEAL: BEGIN AGAIN"- John Carney Brings Back Musical Magic On The Big Screen

“If music be the food of love, play on,” wrote William Shakespeare over 400 years ago, reminding us of the way that music can inspire and speak to our emotions and connections in a deeper and more profound way than simple words.  It’s no wonder, then, that the cinema has embraced the power of music to capture and enhance the screen’s powerful connection to the human spirit.  No one knows that better than filmmaker John Carney, whose 2006 film ONCE went from being the find of the Sundance Film Festival to winning the Independent Spirit Award for Best Foreign Film, earning a Grammy nomination for its soundtrack, and winning the Best Original Song Academy Award for the romantic ballad “Falling Slowly” (composed and performed by the film’s stars, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.)  The stage play based on the film then went on to win the Tony Award for Best Musical.

REEL DEAL: Kiera Knightley Takes On Adam Levine

Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine may have won several Grammy Awards, sold millions of albums worldwide and judged the hit TV series The Voice, but in the movie BEGIN AGAIN, he gets upstaged as the spotlight turns to actress Kiera Knightley.

“I’ve never done anything like this,” admits Knightley who is best known for her costume dramas and period films such as “Pride & Prejudice,” and “Atonement,” as well as the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

“My character has pretty much died in everything I’ve done for the last five years,” she jokes. “I decided I’d like to do something where I didn’t have to go through heavy emotional turmoil and die, if at all possible.  There’s a touch of emotional turmoil in this, but in the end I found it to be incredibly hopeful. It’s rare to find pieces of work that are so full of hope.”

REEL DEAL" Adam Levine Makes Film Debut In "BEGIN AGAIN"

Although he’s no stranger to the camera, having been a coach on the NBC show “The Voice” for several seasons, and making his small screen acting debut on the hit FX Drama “American Horror Story,” music star ADAM LEVINE has never tried dramatic acting until he was approached by John Carney to be part of the upcoming movie “Begin Again.”

“I was honored just to be asked, and right off the bat I fell in love with the script.  To have John believe in me is really exciting,” says Levine.  “John saw something in me that was this character Dave– whether that is flattering or not, I can’t tell, but I would not have considered doing a film unless I was really connected to the material.  I love John’s tone – he is a musician, and I think his sensibilities are those of a musician so we get along famously.”
