H'wood Walk of Fame Honors "Transformers" Director Michael Bay

Michael Bay received one of the highest honours in Hollywood: his handprints in the Walk of Fame.

Bay sank his hands and feet into the forecourt of Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre recently as he was honored for a money-spinning movie career that has netted almost $6 billion.

The 52-year-old Los Angeles native is known for directing some of history’s biggest effects-laden blockbusters, from “Bad Boys” (1995), “Armageddon” (1998) and “Pearl Harbor” (2001) to the “Transformers” franchise, whose fifth installment, “Transformers: The Last Knight” opens in the US and the Philippines on June 21, 2017.

Real "Secret Soldiers" in Benghazi Battle Talk About "13 Hours"

Director Michael Bay’s new action-thriller, “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” was based on a real-life, controversial incident in Libya. Consulting the production were three of the actual participants in that tense battle, Kris “Tanto” Paronto, Mark “Oz” Geist and John “Tig” Tiegan.

At the time of the battle on September 11th, 2012, the three ex-military men were serving as CIA security contractors, the Global Response Staff (GRS). When the attack on the American diplomatic compound and the CIA annex in Benghazi took place – at which four men died, including a United States ambassador – it was these men who held their ground, as depicted in the new film.

Directed by Michael Bay, the action-thriller depicts the assault of the United States embassy in Benghazi, Libya in 2012 that led to the death of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Following  the trailer reveal, Paramount Pictures has now shared the teaser poster of the time-travel movie “Project Almanac” from producer Michael Bay.

In the film, a brilliant high school student and his friends uncover blueprints for a mysterious device with limitless potential, inadvertently putting lives in danger. The youthful cast is composed of Jonny Weston (“Chasing Mavericks”), Sofia Black-D’Elia (TV's “Gossip Girl”), Sam Lerner (TV's “Suburgatory”), Allen Evangelista (TV's “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”) and Ginny Gardner (TV's “Glee”).

REEL DEAL: World Premiere of “TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION” Tomorrow June 19 In Hong Kong

Michael Bay's fourth installment of the mega-blockbuster franchise “Transformers: Age of Extinction” will premiere on Thursday, June 19 at the Hong Kong Culture Center in Hong Kong, which is being specially transformed into an IMAX® 3D theatre for this one-night event. The film begins its global roll-out in IMAX (and regular 3D and 2D) theaters on June 25, including the Philippines.

The red-carpet event and screening will take place at the Hong Kong Culture Center, which is receiving a makeover of IMAX proportions exclusively for this event – complete with a 60-by-34-foot IMAX screen and IMAX's proprietary projection and sound technology.
